Trains, Planes And Automobiles

Our cyclists come from all over the globe with different arrival points to begin their cycle tour and we try and make the tour start and end points easily accessible by using international airports, bus, and train stations.

Some of our guided tours include pickups and drop offs to and from the nearest transport hubs. Don´t hesitate to ask if you have specific questions about traveling from abroad or big city destinations like London, Lisbon, Madrid or Barcelona to tour starts.

Home & Away
Pack your bags and come with us to Cycle!

Getting to Spain, Portugal or England for your bike tour has never been easier or cheaper with a choice of no- frills flights to all our tour starting locations. We can organize transfers to and from the arrival and departure points, and can advise you on any travel arrangements whether coming from North America, UK & Ireland, or elsewhere in the world.

We can’t say enough good things of the time you spent pointing out the local history to us from the beginning of Columbus’ expedition to the 2 BC Roman bridge.

To: Alhama de Granada!

Tours starting there: Quiet Paths/ Lakes, Mountains and Sea / Alhama Training

There are a couple of different ways to get to Alhama, a small town.

THE EASIEST WAY: Fly to Malaga or Granada and take a taxi, there are several companies, Prices roughly are 130 – 140 euros from Malaga / 70-80 Euros from Granada.  One recommended service is SolHop which provides transfers.

www.iberia.com is the website for internal flights to Granada.

From Granada / Malaga and elsewhere see www.alsa.es for bus schedules, etc. There is no train station in Alhama de Granada.

“I assume we could take a train from Madrid to Alhama, do you know how much that costs?” Sorry there isn’t a train connection. There is a train station in Loja-San Francisco (which is our closest point about 30km away and we do pickups there). Again, please see the train website, www.renfe.com but there is 1 train a day from Madrid to Loja leaving at 17:05, going via Cordoba and Antequera and stopping at Loja at 20:56 (end destination is Granada with arrival at 21:37). The cost per person is around 70 Euros and the trip to Loja from Madrid is 3 hours and 51 minutes.

You can also go back to Madrid from Loja (again 1 train a day) leaving at 9:47 and arriving in Madrid at 13:35. Here is the link.
